Our Vision

We believe... that it will take creativity and self-reflection to rethink and reconstitute ourselves and our world to overcome the great challenges we are facing, many of which leave us feeling powerless and distraught.

We believe... that the complexity of these problems compels us to seek holistic and long-term solutions that address root causes resulting from a way of life that is increasingly damaging to ourselves and the planet.   

We believe... knowledge creates responsibility for those who have compassion and who understand the world in which we live1. This knowledge needs to be rekindled through lived experiences, that are felt, smelt, tasted, observed, heard direct experiences, located in time and place.

We believe... farming in a way that aims to embed itself in natural systems is a way of seeking and recreating this knowledge by deepening our relationships to nature and this may give us insights to how we may find ways to co-exist.

We believe... that the farmer nurtures nature who in turn, nourishes the farmer.

We believe... we ourselves cannot do much, but through our actions we can encourage hope, courage and movement in others.
